Standardized Testing

Parents seeking admission of their children to C.E.A. are asked to provide a copy of their child’s most recent standardized test for review by the Board. Such tests help assess a child’s academic readiness for the program. Standardized tests are administered every other spring to students in grades 4 – 8.  C.E.A. students typically perform very well on these tests. Our high school students’ ACT and SAT scores testify to the strength of our academic program, as well. C.E.A. graduates have been accepted by colleges and universities around the country and they are doing well in various higher education environments. C.E.A. also offers optional EXPLORE testing for students in 8th and 9th grade, and PLAN testing for students in grade 10.
